The weather is getting warmer which means it's sidewalk tourism time. So, this is someone else's tree. After consulting Google I think this is a plum cherry tree. But I could be wrong about that. It's not my tree — I just drive by it in the spring and think "man, that is a pretty tree."

I think I stood there for about 20 minutes photographing this tree, it was just that damned cool. I so have tree envy. You can find some of them in my Artfire shop: SunshineSight

A very pretty tree indeed Sarah! Your blossoms are way ahead of ours. Mine are a few weeks and lots of more sun away yet! But they are getting there!
Beautiful!
Happy Weekend Sarah!

I just moved to a new apartment in Ypsi, and there's a GORGEOUS tulip tree in the neighbor's yard; I feel the same way, just admiring it endlessly. As I walk around, there are so many colors and so many beautiful flowers and trees and ... sigh. Spring has finally come to Michigan!!!
What beautiful pics Sarah!!Thanks for sharing your spring with us!
It is truly gorgeous. Makes for great photo-0ps.
The blooming trees are fun to see. Flowering crabs are in their peak right now so I am headed to a arboritium that has over 100 varieties.Lovely photos Sarah.
I can understand how difficult it can be to identify flowering trees. If I didn't know what I've got, I'd have no idea what they were! And sometimes, I forget and mis-identify them.
Beautiful photos, Sarah. Happy Mother's Day to you!
Yeah, you're right, its beautiful.
i am laughing at your sidewalk tourism comment because we live in a nieghborhood with no sidwalks and i stand in the street and watch out for cars while i spend 20 minutes photgraphing trees. once there was a sunflower bush, about 20 feet tall covered in sunflowers. i had never even heard of one and spent a half hour at that bush. the man was in the yard so i asked his permission to come on the property and walk around the bush. i googled and it is Mexican Sunflowers. thanks for stopping by my blog last night.
You are right! It is a beautiful tree and I can see why envy has struck your heart.
Great capture!

love your friendly "borrowed" tree ...
I see you're living among beautiful blossoms, Sarah. Wouldn't those cherry blossoms make a lovely pattern for a scarf?

You've taken wonderful pictures !
Wish you a nice week,

It's lovely how you've singled out a single branch and have it stand out against the hazy background. Beautifully done.
such lovely visions of beauty!
Beautiful! Some of these flowering trees don't look real they're so loaded with blooms!
Beautiful! I can see why you spent 20 minutes taking photos.
These are just beautiful Sarah!!!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful tree! SOOOOO cool. I think I would have been standing there for 20 minutes, too. Then we could have been the two strange ladies standing at a tree taking pictures together.
Great post. And thanks for stopping by last week! SO appreciate your visit!
