snow pictorial

So, yeah, it snowed... again.

I tried to have a sense of humor about it, I suppose. But really, now I hate snow. I've had enough. I don't want to spend any more time shoveling the driveway or that part in front of the mail box... or an extra half an hour driving to work, and another extra half an hour driving home. I really just want it to stop.

In the mean time, I suppose, I have hot chocolate and animal crackers. But really, I'm just ready for spring. (as recent additions to my "sarahknight" etsy shop can attest)

Oh, but on a non-snow related note: I now have a Tumblr
You can find me at: http://sunshinesight.tumblr.com/

I'm still a technophobe, so honestly, I'm not quite sure what exactly the point of tumblr is. It seems like a middle point between twitter and a blog. Still, don't expect to find any nude photos there or anything.

On an optimistic note:
  • new episode of "Supernatural" this week (a + that it wasn't pre-empted)
  • FX reruns "Archer" at 11pm on Saturdays - so I can actually watch it
  • my socks are all folded (so now I don't have to pick through the pile to find 2 that match)
  • Brett Dennen has a catchy new song which I keep getting stuck in my head.
  • Found Zachary mellowcreme "valentine mix" when I was browsing the Holiday candy aisle - yum

I am thinking a nice big cup of hot chocolate with a few animal crackers on the side can warm up any cold day. This weather, it really is getting tiresome isn't it?

Glad you are looking on the bright side! :)

Keep warm Sarah!

But such beautiful photos because of the snow. Nicely done, Sarah. Please pass an animal cracker!

It looks freezing! So strange to imagine being that cold when we are in the middle of summer here in Australia.

Our snow is thawing away lately but spring never really comes this early... We'll most likely be getting more snow again before the winter is over...

Never heard of tumblr until now.

I don't mind if you'll give me one, two crackers, but I'll have a cup of tea instead. The pictures are fantastic.

You know the Valentines tradition was to relieve the winter blahs. I am headed to get some Stam chocolates this next week.

You may not like the snow Sarah but your images are great. So clean and colourful....

I hate snow to, if that is any comfort, which it probably isn't.........

Aw these snow photos are so cute! I really love snow but I think it's because I don't have a car. If I had one I'd surely think different about snow too ;)

Wow I really love your latest upload on tumblr, very pretty illustration!

Sarah, I'm with you! Go away winter! I saw a pussy willow today. My heart leapt! Our front garden has three snow drops. Come on spring, push the old man back to the north!

I could go for a mug of hot chocolate and animal crackers right about now.
I've never heard of tumblr.

That chair looked a bit lonely sat out in the snow all on its own ;)

The hot chocolate looked yummy though!

I have taken many of these in NYC lately. This winter has been crazy, but there has definitely been many excuses for hot chocolate and cookies!

Loved your optimisms! The one about the socks reminded me of a friend from way back when who always wore unmatching socks. It was her trademark. Whenever any of us would lose a sock we would just give her the orphan. She never had to buy socks and it was always fun seeing her wacky combinations!

Look on the bright side, at least you've quite possibly got the most adorable mailbox on the block. ;-)

But for real, I'm sick of it too.

The photo of cocoa was perfect after the lovely pictures of snow! Just remember -- it's mid-February. If we can just get through maybe 3 more weeks of this frigid cold and filthy grey-ish stuff that used to be white, we'll have survived another Michigan winter!!! (Then remind me that I said this when we get our next dumping of snow or an ice storm!)
