pining for spring

I'm ready for spring. The only kind of "snow" I want to see is flowering tree petals on the ground.

I did a bit of work a couple weeks ago on some "spring" photos and got a number of them up on Artfire. You can find the images here. Of course, right now when I look out my window - the Bradford pear tree is covered with snow...

How about an early spring this year? I'm tired of winter...

I have seen some new growth on a few shrubs when I was out in the forest. They must be cold tolerant since it is to warm up to 22 today.

I'm with you, Sarah...can hardly wait for spring.

Your Bradford Pear blossom photos are gorgeous. We had a Bradford Pear tree in our yard when we lived in Nebraska. It was such a pretty tree.

I am so with you on this!
I recently did a post on the same thing...so tired of the cold white.

Beautiful captures of soft, warm white....I long even more for it now!

Your images are beautiful!!

Oh I hear you friend! Let us hope Mother Nature is kind to us and sends us a very early spring. Lots of beautiful white blossom petals on the ground should be the only white allowed. :)

I think everyone is in agreement here, Sarah.

Unfortunately, looks like we are in for more of the white stuff this week. :(

What pretty blossoms. I'm pining too but we're supposed to get dumped upon tomorrow. It'll have to wait.

Lovely photos. Yes, I am ready for spring as well. Although our winter was not nearly as bad as up north....I still can't wait for spring.

I wouldn't mind early spring! I would love to see the sun after so many days with no sun at all:)

I enjoy the snow, but I do agree that a layer of petals on the ground would be much nicer! Hopefully we'll feel some warmth before too long.
